As Team Leader Expedition and Warehouse you lead two teams that together take care of the logistics operations. For example, all materials are received in the warehouse and carefully delivered to the production teams. The Expedition team has the task of guiding the logistics route of the production.
As a team leader, you are therefore responsible for all operational matters in the field of material supply and also think along with the organization to increase efficiency. This means, among other things, that you guarantee the delivered quality and regularly evaluate it in order to improve the long-term objectives where necessary.

Job Requirements

– Leading both the Expedition team and the Warehouse team.

– Instructing, coaching and motivating the employees

– Monitoring compliance with procedures and working methods

– Planning the activities of the department

– Discussing and discussing the assignments with the employees in order to achieve an optimal execution

– Monitoring the working methods

– Reports results and the status of improvement actions and projects to executives and process owners

– (Have) employees trained both theoretically and practically.

– Within this role, you report directly to the Supply Chain Director.

Salary and Benefits

– You have at least 5 years of work experience in a similar position as a manager in preferably logistics

– You are preferably in possession of at least a LEAN Six Sigma (green) belt or similar certification

– You know how to motivate and inspire your employees and are strong in your shoes

– You are communicatively proficient and are a worthy discussion partner for both employees and management

– You have experience with project-based work in multidisciplinary teams

– You are good at Excel and making reports

– Finally, you are a people manager with excellent social skills, numerically and analytically strong.
