Besides online marketing and promotional material, to support the sales team, Opticon gains a lot of attention every year by attending a variety of exhibitions around the world.

Job Profile

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and proactive marketing assistant for our European headquarter. You will work together with the Marketing Manager of the company and you will have close cooperation with the local R&D, Support team and the international Sales team. This job includes several responsibilities:

• Actively assist in creating marketing strategies.
• Writing several types of content (Product descriptions, case studies, leaflets, etc.)
• Designing marketing banners, leaflets, flyers, giveaways.
• Organizing supplies and stock of marketing items for the HQ and regional offices.
• Work closely together with third parties to reach strategic marketing goals.
• Assist in organizing exhibitions and (in-house) events.
• Maintaining and improving the website.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication or Journalism.
• Minimum of 2 year’s relevant work experience in Marketing or Communication.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English.
• Competent in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially, Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
• Ability to edit video material with Adobe After Effects and/or Premier Pro is an advantage.
• Experience with editing webpages and content in a CMS.
• Representative and communicative towards third parties and customers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with different personalities from different cultures.
• Basic knowledge of SEO and what this means for the content.
• Intermediate photographical knowledge.
• Experience in creating content in the technology market is a large advantage.
