For our respected client in Noord-Brabant Eindhoven area, SDP is looking for a technical C# Software Developer / Engineer who is interested or experienced in robotic and machine applications. The C# professional(s) will be working within the R&D Product Development department and will be part of a multidisciplinary team of product and software developers. Within this environment, the C# developer, together with a great team, is responsible for the further development of robotic applications. Regarding the development of robotic applications, the C# developer will be able to independently and/or in team create an initial version of the software architecture, design and data model of the application in order to prepare and execute a future robotic application. During the design process it is needed to professionally consider certain designs and make decisions by testing those against the available designs or/ user requirements all together with the technical possibilities and available technical resources.

The client has the opinion that a perfect design and execution of application can only be achieved through an open consultation structure within the project team. Therefore, they expect every team member to look beyond their own field and ready to make his/her ideas and designs discussable. Every professionals at this client is expected to help bring colleagues to a higher level of knowledge and peer reviews.

The C# developer

-The C# software engineer will be part of an enthusiastic team. You will be responsible for the full software development cycle of new features, product enhancement and new applications.

Your assignment will be a mixture of the following activities:

-Software specification based on system performance and requirements.

-Develop and execute designs based on a full comprehension of the function, purpose and application of the product(s).

-Align on architectural guidelines and re-use of components with other development engineers.

-Contribute to the software roadmap using the software product roadmaps.

-Implement and integrate while making practical development choices given limited design information and defined delivery schedules.

-Troubleshooting and debugging of software programs in a simulation.

-Conduct bug fixing on existing issues through software implementation, development of test methodologies, and performing unit tests.

-Act as the authoritative owner of multiple functional characteristics and/or modules of the specified software application.

Required

The ideal candidate for this position enjoys working in a multi-disciplinary technical environment to solve technical problems. If you enjoy the development of C# software solutions on top of high-performance systems, this is an excellent opportunity. The successful C# candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:

-BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or related technical discipline.

-5-7 years’ experience in development of technical C# software for  high-tech equipment. Preference for development experience on top of highly-integrated, high-performance systems. At a minimum, development experience with medium sized C# software applications.

-Must have the ability or experience to develop effective and high-performance software.

-Able to work on diverse objectives and problems where analysis of situation or data requires an evaluation of identifiable factors.

-Proven and experienced with ASP.NET, C#.

-Great knowledge of Microsoft.NET and (software for) databases.

Further preference given for hands on experience with one or more of the following areas:

-Agile/Scrum Development.

-Model Driven designs and Domain Specific languages.

-Excellent interpersonal communications skills are required due to the high degree of interaction and collaboration.

-Good communicational skills both written and verbal and good knowledge of English.

-Team player.

-Candidate must be able to work in a cross-disciplinary scrum team in a dynamic product development environment.
