What are you going to do:

Thousands of packages run through the warehouse of PostNL in Westzaan every day. There are many steps before a package will be delivered to the customer’s home. We are looking for colleagues that want to be part of this process!

What will you be doing?

Together with a big team of colleagues, you are responsible for processing all the packages which have arrived during the night or in the early mornings. You will move carts filled up with packages from A to B, scan the packages, place them on the conveyor belt and make sure that they end up at the right lane. When it is busy at the area where the drivers work, you’ll find it no problem to jump in and help them out sorting the packages. The function as a logistic employee can be very varied and physically challenging. Therefore, it is very important that you enjoy and can handle physically demanding work.

When will you be working?

As a logistics employee, you work with a big team of colleagues in the morning. The warehouse of PostNL is open from Monday till Saturday. The shifts start at 07.00 in the morning and ends around 11.00. Which means you will have plenty of time to study, work at another job or just enjoy the sunshine in your free afternoon. A fun fact about this job is that we can extend the shift if you want to work more hours. There is a possibility to start at 05.00 in the morning, which will give you a nice surcharge of 30%. Don’t want to set your alarm earlier? No problem, we can also extend the shift and make sure that your work ends around 15.00 in the afternoon, on certain days.

What we offer:

• A parttime function which is immediately available;
• The possibility to get a permanent contract at PostNL;
• Hourly wage of €12,42 per hour which can go up to €17,39;
• Surcharges in the early mornings or 40% on Saturdays;
• Travel allowance.

• No minimum education required
• You are available to work at least 2 shifts a week;
• You are able to request a VOG;
• Physically demaning work is no problem for you.
