What are you going to do:

As a bicycle courier for TakeAway in Nijmegen you always start working out of your own home, so no travelling time! You launch the app and accept the first order of the day. You cycle towards the restaurant with the route guidance of the app. Once you arrive you will wait for the order that you had to pick up and start cycling to the customer. When you are there, you put up your biggest smile and ring the bell. 

What am I going to earn? 

You will earn a gross salary of €11 (21+), but that is not everything. Apart from your gross salary, you will receive several allowances and bonuses. Because you are working from your own home, you have to use your own bike. It does not matter if it is either a normal bicycle, or an electrical one. You will receive a kilometre allowance for every kilometre you cycle. For a normal bike it is €0,10 per kilometre, and for an electrical bike €0,19 per kilometre. On top of that, all the tips you receive, are for you. So if you do a nice job and do it with a big smile, your hourly wage will be higher than €11!

What do I need? 

You need: A good working bicycle, a smartphone with 4G and a powerbank to charge your phone. 

How does the planning work?

At Just Eat TakeAway, we work with a minimum availability of two shifts a week. One of those has to be in the weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). A shift often is three or four hours. If you want to work more, it is also possible to work double shifts!
The planning itself is very flexible. Every Tuesday, you will send in your availability and TakeAway’s planners will make the schedule. So your availability can change very often.
