Making a difference
• You will be part of a self-organizing DevOps team, mainly focused on Software Engineering (software testing), working on an application to manage the bank’s FTP policy across all business units that require funding from the Treasury department of Rabobank;
• You will take the lead to maintain and improve the current test automation framework, using both UI and API tests;
• You are not afraid to get your hands dirty and perform manual tests whenever needed.
• You are used to working together with developers, business analysts and test engineers to solve complex testing challenges;
• You are pragmatic and knowledgeable about testability, quality and delivery of a stable product;
• You are flexible and pro-active, you have a strong analytic mindset and are result oriented.

Customer focus, good communication skills, collaboration and technologically advanced are essential for the role of Software Engineer. In addition, it’s important that you recognise yourself in the checklist below:
• You are smart and are able to prove it (e.g. Bachelor or Master’s degree and ideally ISTQB Test Automation Engineer certified);
• You have a minimum of 5 years of experience creating test automation to test web applications;
• You are the kind of person who likes to take things apart just to figure out how they work;
• You are passionate about test automation;
• Experience with testing micro services with REST interfaces;
• You have a minimum of 3 years of experience writing readable BDD scenarios and implementing them using Cucumber;
• Proficient with Linux, Java and SQL;
• Experience with maintaining a test automation framework using Rest Assured and Selenium;
• You are a very good communicator and proficient in verbal and written English;
• You are able to handle multiple tasks while maintaining the big picture.
