We are looking for an R&D Technician to join the Process Development & Circularity team within Packaging, Specialty Plastics & Hydrocarbons R&D at our client. Below tasks will be part of the job:
- You work as part of a team in a laboratory setting, supporting chemists and engineers in developing, screening and commercializing new feedstocks, catalysts and processes.
- You manage and then safely execute laboratory work requests, maintaining and running relevant laboratory apparatus and testing equipment and documenting data.
- You develop experimental plans for review/approval by your project team and execute approved plans by performing routine and non-standard tasks or procedures of higher complexity.
- You achieve project goals using technical, role-specific skills and experience, and introduces new procedures for new instrument methods, equipment changes, or new equipment.
Functie-eisen
- An MBO-4, an associate degree, or a bachelors degree in chemistry, applied chemistry, analytical chemistry, process technology, chemical engineering, or equivalent. We are looking for a fresh graduate or someone who can continue to grow and develop in the role. Prior working experience is not required.
- You are eager to learn and explore new technologies and techniques, analytical methods, and related software tools.
- You are a good communicator with working knowledge of English.
- You bring a can-do attitude to work but with a safety-first mindset.
