Geodis has strong growth ambitions for the coming years. This includes a number of large projects in the field of automation and mechanization.

Together with your fellow Project Managers you will be pivotal within Geodis for the implementation of automation projects for new customers and new concepts as well as improvements at existing customers (medium and large projects). You implement efficient and safe solutions within budget and planning. 

You are the point of contact for the customer and ensure that both the customer, the internal project team, suppliers and management are aware of what is going on at all times. You will ensure neat and complete project administration according to our project management method and will join a department with other Project Managers and Logistics Engineers where you will have good sparring partners. Through proactive communication, your strong expert knowledge and service-oriented attitude, you are able to build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and our global Geodis network.

You will report to the Manager Project Management & Engineering.

Functie-eisen

• You have an HBO/WO working and thinking level;
• You have at least 15 years of work experience;
• You have at least 5 years of experience in managing projects;
• You have affinity with the latest automation technologies and have good knowledge of logistics processes;
• You are able to contribute creatively on the basis of customer requirements and the Geodis strategy to arrive at the right choice of automation solutions together with the stakeholders;
• Knowledge of and great affinity with WMS and IT systems is important in this position;
• You are able to keep the overview and make connections with your analytical insight;
• You work independently, are proactive and know how to convince others;
• Your oral and written skills in Dutch and English are excellent.
