Job Description

In this position, you program the company’s machines using PLC and visualization software and you are responsible for developing new operating software. You like complex problems and you, besides realizing software solutions, enjoy working on standardization.

As a PLC & Robotics Programmer, you are working on qualitatively high-end and complete automation solutions and you commission these for the customers.

Your challenge:

– Writing PLC, HMI and visualization software;
– Determining technical and functional specifications, based on the customers’ demand;
– Testing and optimizing writing software by using simulation and testing on-site;
– Commissioning projects at customers on-site;
– Standardizing working processes.

Job Requirements

– You have a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Industrial Automation;
– You have affinity or relevant experience in the machinery industry;
– You are willing to travel internationally to test and commission software on-site (around 25% of the time);
– You are accurate, solution-oriented and you have a strong technical focus;
– You are fluent in English. Knowing German is a plus;
– You are willing to lean Dutch;
– You are experienced in working with TIA Portal, PLC and HMI’s;
– You have experience in working with Robotstudio’s (ABB);
– Experience in programming with C# is a plus;
– Experience with Vision systems, like LMI, is a plus;
– You are flexible, looking to learn and you show responsibility.
– You are looking to move to the Netherlands for the long term.
