As Backend Developer at Ceva eCommerce Logistics in Waalwijk (region Tilburg), you will be working on a wide variety of development projects for one of the major players in the Telecom branche in the Netherlands! Your role as Backend Developer at Ceva eCommerce Logistics
The current team consists of 8 people; 1 manager, 1 solution architect and 6 developers. The team has a hybrid way of working and everyone is free to choose the combination of working from the office and home. Together with this team, you will work on various projects using the latest technologies and agile methodologies and tools. You will partner with business stakeholders to develop solutions that solve business problems. This will include gathering and validating requirements, developing, testing and delivering the solution. 

– You are responsible for software architecture patterns;
– You are going to build and test cross-over compatible and highly scalable web applications and services;
– You are going to update or further develop current systems;
– You are going to fix bugs, resolve and troubleshoot problems and find solutions for complex customer issues;
– You will work closely with your own team and Business Analysts on requirements and solutions;
– Furthermore, you are given the freedom to take on every type of project that you are interested in (for example DevOps related).
 

Job Requirements

– You have at least 3 years of experience in backend development;
– You have advanced knowledge of PHP (preferably with Symfony and/or MySQL);
– You are available fulltime (32-40 hours) and can speak and write in English and/or Dutch;
– Preferably, you have knowledge of Docker and AWS Stack;
–  Preferably, you are experienced with working Scrum/Agile.
