In this role you will report to the Manager Accounting & Financial Controlling and you will lead a team of 3 Accounts Payable Officers and an Administrator contributing towards timely, accurate, well-controlled and accurate processing of (purchase) invoices and payments. You will continuously improve the AP processes whilst coordinating the daily AP activities and providing support to the team. You monitor the performance of the AP team through relevant KPI’s, and balance this well with efficient onboarding, workload and professional development.

As a Lead to the team you always ensure the developing, implementing, and safeguarding of proper internal controls, policies, and procedures. You build a strong network with relevant stakeholders in the business to support managing their cost centers. We are also rolling out an S4H implementation for the relevant entities and you will play a key role in our Accounting team.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Analyse and discuss the process with stakeholders;
• Monitoring the process of the accounts payable team and improve if necessary;
• Support the team at daily assigning and posting of invoices ;
• Support the team at daily bank statement processing/postings;
• Three-way match invoice posting;
• Act proactively with the Manager Accounting about KPI’s of the team;
• Schedule tasks of the team and make a good working procedure and process for them.

Functie-eisen

• You have a Bachelor Degree in Accounting or related studies;
• Having worked in Audit, Accounting, or similar between 2 to 5 years;
• You have excellent knowledge of IFRS, profound knowledge of Excel and preferable experience in SAP (FICO);
• Personally you demonstrate integrity and an analytical & structured way of working;
