Your challenge as Inside Sales Account Manager – French & Food

You will be responsible for managing all of our customers in France who order products from all our meat brands. Our diverse customer base consists of Cash & Carry, suppliers for the catering industry, supermarkets and food manufacturers. We have solid customers base as we have been existing for a long period of time. Therefore, you will be mostly focused on managing relationship and trying to increase sales per customer. A couple of times per year you will be visiting fairs and visiting your customers, mainly to agree to new yearly (pricing) contracts. Most of the time, you will be working from our office in Zoeterwoude. Of course, you will try to gain new business. Luckily, we know the market and our potential customers know of our existence, making it easier for you to get in touch with them.

 

Your colleagues

You will be part of an international sales team with diverse backgrounds; From butchers to hospitality; 27 and 56 years old; about 20% non-Dutch. We work intensively together where we help each other and share information regarding market developments and current pricings. You will report to the Commercial Director.

 

Successful

You will be successful when you are able to represent our company and culture and have a decent understanding of our products and are able to expand our market. You are able to adapt to market circumstances (availability and pricing).

Functie-eisen

The ideal French speaking Accountmanager / Salesmanager

Of course, you are able to speak French and English. If you can manage Dutch as well, it will be beneficial. Just as experience within the food related industry is useful, it is not necessary. For us it doesn’t matter if you are an experienced Accountmanager or fresh out of university with just a few years of experience. Your personality and skillset are essential. Because you are eager, enthusiastic, focused on quality and great at building relationships (you are not a sales “hunter” who only wants to score deals).
