The Head of Finance is a critical role to support the company’s growth phase. You will be responsible for leading all the company’s finance activities and be a sparringpartner for the CFO, managementteam and team leads. This to drive both strategic and operational decisions. The Head of Finance will report directly to the CFO and you are supported by a Financial Controller and a Business Information Manager.

The responsibilities of the Head of Finance will include the following:

• Business decision support: Provide insights and recommendations to the CFO, managementteam and team leads in Commercial, Technology and Operations to drive better business decisions;
• Management information: Design and provide management information to the managementteam, supervisory board and shareholders, incl. e.g., financial and operational performance of the business, cost management, cashflow forecasting etc. supporting both strategic and operational decisions;
• Business planning: Design and operate the annual business planning and budgeting process;
• Financial processes and controls: Custodian of the financial control framework, identify opportunities to improve finance and control processes and support the finance team to implement these;
• Financial accounting and reporting: Ensure a fit-for-purpose design and operation of the financial administration of the company, incl. timely and accurate internal and external reporting (incl. tax);
• Cash management: Ensure the company’s long-term cash position remains healthy and maintain the company’s treasury policies (incl. foreign exchange) and ensure compliance.

Functie-eisen

• Master’s degree (business or finance); preferably in combination with post-graduate CMA, CPA, RC;
• Minimum 6-8 years of progressive experience in finance positions;
• Proven track record in key finance areas, including business performance management (planning & appraisal, management information, cashflow forecasting etc.), business decision support and accounting & controls;
• Experience in designing and maintaining a fit-for-purpose suite of financial systems and connected applications;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, incl. presentation and drafting in English.
