Job Description
The FP&A Controller reports to the FC Trading Planning and Reporting Manager. You will work closely with the Financial Shared Service Center (FSSC), corporate departments and other Trading functions like Commerce, WCCM, Strategic Pricing & Market Intelligence.

As the FP&A Controller you will actively drive the process to provide Senior Management and stakeholders with timely, high quality and accurate historical and forward-looking information and recommendations. You will pursue best-in-class processes for reporting cycles. Next to this you will analyse, interpret and convey complex financial and accounting matters, in cooperation with our FSSC and the wider Trading Finance Team.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Take ownership for specific components of the P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow, review and confirm balances during month-end closing and perform ongoing analytical review;
• Complete (complex) account reconciliations and journal entries in support of the monthly close process;
• Responsible for forecasting and the budget process;
• Provide guidance to other accountants / Financial Shared Services Center colleagues to ensure accurate financial reporting;
• Business partner for finance community in complex accounting and controlling issue;
• Develop, program and manage financial databases in Excel, Access and Power BI;
• Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools;
• Create financial models for decision support;
• Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards;
• Supporting the Planning and Reporting Manager in preparation of various analysis, reports and business/performance reviews.

Functie-eisen

• Completed a relevant financial Master Degree;
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience within Controlling / FP&A, in a complex multinational, advantageous if from Food/FMCG environments;
• Interest and basic understanding of SAP, BI Tooling and great Excel skills;
• Strong knowledge of English (written & spoken);
• Commercial mindset and entrepreneurial spirit, strong analytical thinking and with good social and communication skills.
