What are you going to do:

As a driver for Albert Heijn in Amsterdam each day is different. The one day you’ll drive within the city center and on other days you’ll drive on small roads in the countryside. You discover the beautiful places of the Netherlands ánd you make people happy by delivering their groceries. Sounds like a dream job, right?

It’s possible to work five days a week, but less is also an option! You choose how many days, so it’s easy to combine with your study or other job. We ask for a minimum availability of two days a week, where you work on a Saturday once every two weeks. 

In addition, you can cancel your subscription at the gym, because you lift a lot of crates at this job. Enough physical challenge!

For all this you will get a nice salary based on age:

Salary
Your salary increases when you get older (until 22 years) and also after the first 13 weeks! So for example: when you are 22 years old you earn €14,01 per hour, but this increases to €14,66 after 13 worked weeks! This includes the ADV allowance.

Experience with delivery is not a hard requirement, but it’s a big plus when you have experience with driving bigger vehicles.

What we offer:

• A gross hourly wage that increases to € 14,66 (including the ADV allowance) if you are 22 years or older;
• The more hours you work, the more days off you accumulate;
• A job that can be easily combined with other obligations;
• €150,- if you recommend one of your friends and he goes on the road for Albert Heijn.

What we ask:

• No minimum education required
• It's a plus when you have some experience with driving bigger vehicles.
• You are customer-friendly and like to be in contact with people;
• You are available for at least 2 days a week and once every 2 weeks on Saturday;
• You live in, or close to Amsterdam;
