Therefore, SDP is looking for a full-time DevOps engineer to develop and improve multi-cloud infrastructure. You will be part of a dedicated team responsible for the design, operation, availability, change management, performance, monitoring, security, and emergency response of a global infrastructure, as well as creating and maintaining continuous integration/ continuous delivery pipelines. You will assist application engineers and automation experts as they design and develop infrastructure to improve resiliency, security, and data availability.

The DevOps Engineer requires;

-An individual with strong background in BOTH Windows AND Linux/Unix Administration.

-Experience with automation/configuration management.

-Experience with CI / CD tools such as Jenkins and Octopus.

-Experience with Docker.

-Experience with NGINX.

-Experience deploying IIS hosted websites (MSDeploy is of great benefit).

-Understanding of network infrastructure.

-Virtualisation experience (bonus points for Proxmox / KVM clustering).

-Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services.

-Strong experience with SQL and MySQL (Oracle and/or MSSQL experience is a plus).

-Experience with Powershell/Bash.

-A working understanding of code and script, preferably .NET related.

-Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service.
