What is your job as a Data Analyst? You have the freedom to choose the path that leads to the solution. As a Data Analyst you’ll need to ensure that the request matches the needs and assess whether the data sets are fit for purpose. You will translate requests for data from the monitoring and back-testing team directly into code or adequately instruct developers on how to do so. You’ll develop the principles for creating data sets that meet the latest internal and regulatory requirements for data quality. If you have enough experience, you will also play the role of advisor and leader.

Important information:
1. SQL and Credit Risk are both important, a candidate who has specific knowledge of SQL, but has not yet done an assignment with a bank in the area of ​​credit risk or has no knowledge of it, will not be able to contribute sufficiently.
2. We are not looking for someone with a lot of banking knowledge, but only limited SQL skills. Making complex queries in SQL is a MUST-HAVE. We work with large and diverse data files – with a relatively low data quality – which can raise many questions, from which we have to link attributes.
3. The Rabobank is looking for candidates who could preferably start in January-early February.
4. The department’s need for growth is due to the planned size of the projects for 2021. One of the projects that is going to start and that requires capacity – is the data collection for the redevelopment of one of the existing models for prediction of loss risks in the business portfolio. The Rabobank is also in need of additional or replacement capacity in a number of other projects.
