For a subsidiary company and valued client of ours in The Amsterdam area, we are searching for experienced and dedicated C++ Developers and Computer Scientists with preferably a Science background in Computers, Mathematics, or Physics.

The professional will report to a friendly and international management staff. Functionally the C++ Software Developers/ Computer Scientists are assigned to a team lead(s). The C++ Software Developers/ Computer Scientists are responsible for creating new and improving existing functionalities for our clients software products. These intelligent products have a scientific touch. The C++ Specialists will be working in the company software development department which develops various and intriguing programs. The C++ Specialists should be open minded about traveling to the UK for about 3 weeks a year in order to visit other team members on location. All expenses will be paid in full by our respected client. This is an in-house position and not a consultancy position.

Our respected client is looking for Medior and Senior C++  | GUI Software Developers and Computer Scientists in order to:

-Implement innovative and practical ideas and delivery of saleable products.

-Improve to already existing functionality and user interfaces.

-Continue adequate integration with company software.

-Advance the state of the Company software products and suites.

-Ensure that new software designs and implementations satisfy the requirements for the software.

-Take maintenance responsibility for certain parts of existing software.

-Conduct and participate in peer reviews.

-Report any timing and/ or technical project issues to the team.

Required:

-You are a Computer Scientist and/or Developer | Programmer.

-A BSc, MSc, or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics.

-Minimum of 3 years’ experience in developing with C++ and preferably OOP.

-Have strong knowledge of GUI activities.

-Willingness to work with project managers/team leads, technical product managers, QA testers and others to achieve a high quality product.

–Develop and document code and basic technical aspects of implemented functionalities.

-Able to provide explanations, orally and in writing, on design and implementation of software.

-Interested in knowledge sharing sessions with colleague on location and on remote distance.

-Writing and speaking English fluently.

-Interested in the Science of Physics, Mathematics, Programming & Algorithms.

-Experience or knowledge of Qt is a big plus.

-Experience with Java and JNI is a big plus.

-Experienced working with cross platforms such as Windows and Linux would be a big plus.
