The role

Cummins Distribution in Dordrecht has an opening for a talented individual to join our company as Aftermarket Sales Manager. This role is reporting to the Aftermarket Country Leader based in the same distribution unit.

 

The Aftermarket Sales Manager will be managing customer long-term relationships to achieve sales goals and executing sales plans within an assigned sales territory or account as well as sell company products and services by developing new prospects and accounts.

 

Responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to: Develop long-term partnership with the contractors to generate customer goodwill and loyalty. Conduct negotiations according to company guidelines. Identify, research and contact prospective customers and builds positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business. Respond to customer concerns about the company and its products. Provide leadership and mentoring to less experienced sales representatives. Drive utilization of Cummins tools and processes (i.e. Customer Relationship Management, Customer focus Six Sigma).

You will be responsible to develop and increase the parts and service business.

You will need to identify and realise business opportunities for the Cummins range of aftermarket products.

You will also have to develop business with existing customers and win new accounts.

 

 

Skills And Experience Required:

 

Business-to-business sales experience in a professional service industry

Proven track record in Commercial, Marketing and Contract management

Product and technical knowledge

Drive, Enthusiasm and commitment to succeed in team environment is essential

Good oral & written communication skills in Dutch and English

Flexibility, confidence and independence

Computer skills – Microsoft Office

Good problem solving, analytical and negotiation skills

Able to work and communicate with people on different levels in the organization

 

Required Education / Licences / Certifications:

A Bachelor equivalent degree in marketing, sales or a related subject or equivalent industry experience required.
