Nedstack Fuel Cell Technology BV develops and produces fuel cells (PEM) and Systems. Nedstack focuses mainly on marine installations and large-scale stationary (FCPP) for electricity generation. Job Description

First things first! It is important that you live within 100 kilometers from Arnhem and have a valid permanent work visa to work in the Netherlands, unfortunately we ask you not to apply.
As a Cost Engineer you are responsible for improving the supply processes reports which are the base to optimise the value stream between all production and development steps in the chain together with the colleagues of Purchasing, Development and Manufacturing. Your responsibilities and tasks are to report en come with alternative solutions on components/materials/services.
The Cost Engineer has a professional focus and drive to ensuring the efficiency of industrial processes within the total supply chain. This includes production assembly lines at suppliers, manufacturing costs, raw materials and waste disposal systems. The Cost Engineer aims to optimise the process by minimise waste (waste in costs, time and energy) during the production process and create a maximum value within the total supply chain externally and internally. Using a proper communication with the various stakeholders ensures that all processes continue to run smoothly between all departments involved. Also the Engineer is part of the selecting team who selects new supplier/component combinations.
The scope of the responsibilities contains:
– Analyse of all parts and processes by using standard technics, like DFA, VA/VE, LEAN,
– Cost overview an advice regarding proposals from Purchasing
– Determining and realizing milestones in processes and based on this monitoring the information and expected costs (suppliers and services).
– Taking and reporting on expediting visits

Job Requirements

As a Cost Engineer, you are a key player for Nedstack. You will have great responsibility and therefore we ask the following of you:
– Technical Bachelor education and working level;
– 2 -3 years of experience in a similar position;
– Experience of economic patterns;
– International business and goods traffic;
– Systems for automatic data processing, knowledge of Excel is a must;
– Track information of raw materials.
– Dutch and English language
