Your challenge as Commissioning Software Engineer / Troubleshooter

Alstom develops and produces trains, trams and metros. Our department, Product Innovation, is responsible for commissioning these new vehicles. We perform electronical and software tests (e.g., on-board cabinets, networks, information systems, doors and traction systems ) and additional mechanical test (e.g. breaks and performing test rides). You will conduct these tests based on drawings and materials package, IBS protocols and safety plans.

Due to our 2 year warranty period per train , we are responsible for 24/7 support and assistance over that period of time (malfunctions).

Short-term work abroad at the supplying Alstom sites can be one of the possibilities. All our work is carried out at our customer NS in its workshops and technical centers in the cities of Amsterdam, Utrecht, Eindhoven and The Hague.

We are openminded regarding your background.

– OR: you have relevant commissioning experience

– OR: you are a starter /junior with an electronical, mechatronical or IT diploma (mbo, hbo or master)
