Communication/Marketing Internship at TheRockGroup

TheRockGroup is a young company, everything we do is geared towards acceleration of the transition into a more sustainable society. We work with existing companies to embed sustainability, young sustainable ventures to make them grow, we engage stakeholders and develop and teach in education.

Our office in Amsterdam we are located in the Tropical institute. Our work field is Global, with current projects in the Netherlands, Thailand, Hong Kong, Uganda, Egypt, Belgium, the US.

Content of internship

 Support of external and brand (corporate) communication of TheRockGroup. Including website revision, online and offline media strategy and execution;
 Improve communication of related activities Vonk (monthly events with social entrepreneurs on stage: www.vonked.nl), and TRG crowd (students working on business cases) and several LinkedIn groups);
 Support of PR & marketing of Orange ASEAN Initiative.

What we are looking for?
 Background in communication;
 Clear interest in sustainability;
 Good level of written and spoken Dutch and English;
 Knowledge of social media;
 Design and PowerPoint skills;
 Independent worker;
 HBO/WO level.

Timing and compensation

Till: end of July 2016

Days: 2 or 3 days per week Compensation: €200,– or €300,– per month
