We are looking for an experienced IT professional with executive potential to become responsible for overseeing and coordinating the IT service delivery to our Finance team. The purpose is to consolidate ownership and accountability for IT driven improvements to our overall Finance processes with one individual.  

Key elements of the role include;

• diagnosing issues and implementing improvements and solutions to finance challenges;
• partnering the Business to analyze new requirements and set expectations around possible changes and delivery timelines;
• driving clarity and simplification of the operating model and processes for finance work. This will involve understanding how the systems can help to simplify processes and centralize operations;
• addressing the data challenges using commercial thinking about the financial insights we need to be focused on as a business, how we gain this via data and systems;
• working with the Operations and Group teams to ensure Finance remains aligned to AI and Group Finance Strategies;
• working with the suppliers of the Finance systems, to ensure maintenance is appropriate and properly maintained. Also, to diagnose issues as appropriate.
• making sure all tasks are delivered in time and with quality.

Functie-eisen

• bachelors (or higher) academic degree in a Finance and/or IT related field. 
• a passion for delivering process improvement to financial processes, systems, practices and applications;
• technical expertise in the processes of re-engineering, data and systems as well as strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to convert strategy into quality execution rapidly;
• experience in either Financial or Management accounting is desirable;
• experience in using SAP Business by Design, Tagetik and in general accounts payable software;
• excellent communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to be personable yet persistent;
• experience in initiating and driving projects to completion with minimal guidance;
• excellent written communication and presentation skills; English is mandatory.
