Due to the growth of the Research and Development department and due to some innovative projects and kick-offs, our respected client is looking for both experienced and some less experienced Delphi development colleagues.

The client requires Delphi Software Developers to deliver high quality functional software within agreed timescales. The successful Delphi Software Developer will join our client’s most impressive technology team tasked with development of innovative software solutions.

The activities can also range from a minor adjustment in the Delphi developed applications for the complete replacement of a system. In addition to the advisory and practical role as Developer you are also responsible for the implementation of your recommendations, which makes this position very interesting and challenging. The Delphi Developer position will suit someone looking for a challenging role as it is formed from an overarching technology shift within the IT business to accommodate the predicted growth and push their internal services forward in line with technological developments as well as to allow for future developments in the business’s service lines.

Required;

-BSc. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent preferred.

-Minimum of 3 years experience of software development (enterprise scale applications) using Delphi, C#, .NET and SQL with a keen interest in programming best practices.

-Strong knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems, including XP, 7 and 10.

-Familiarity with functional and non-functional software requirements, strong knowledge of refactoring, including improving the design of existing code.

-Understanding of business process modelling and workflows.

-Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of technical, functional and management staff.

-Strong analytic skills, strategic vision, and logical approach to problem solving.

-Clear and concise documentation skills.

-Ability to be strongly self-proficient in time management and planning.

-Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel.

-Experienced with designing software applications using MySQL, web technology (HTML / JavaScript / CSS / jQuery), web services (SOAP/REST) and Windows Server (ISAPI / IIS).
